Way up north, where winter meets art.
I am Olaf Schneider, a German photographer, developer and data manager with a passion for the North.
That’s why I moved to Sweden in 2010. Since then I’ve been travelling to many places in Northern Scandinavia. Since 2020 I’ve been working for the Norwegian Polar Institute.
My main subjects are artistical imagery as well as travel and landscape photography, preferably in winter.
If you want to know some of the stories behind the images you are welcome to read my blog way-up-north.
… or just feel free to contact me personally.
